VIENNA - February 12, 2014 - Proxmox Server Solutions GmbH, provider of the open source server virtualization platform Proxmox Virtual Environment (Proxmox VE), is one of the seven new members joining the Linux Foundation, a nonprofit organization dedicated to accelerating the growth of Linux and collaborative development.
By joining the Linux Foundation, Proxmox is reinforcing its commitment to the hypervisor KVM (Kernel-based Virtual Machine). Within the Linux Foundation, Proxmox will continue its engagement with the Open Virtualization Alliance (OVA), since October 2013 a Linux Foundation Collaborative Project to promote KVM.

Our goal is to promote KVM as the open enterprise-class virtualization solution."
