Vienna – December 11, 2014 – Proxmox Server Solutions GmbH, developer of the open-source server virtualization solution Proxmox Virtual Environment (VE), announced today the training program for 2015 including new modular trainings for system administrators. The trainings impart fundamental virtualization knowledge about kernel-based virtual machine (KVM), container-virtualization, the Proxmox network and storage model as well as advanced topics like clustering, high availability and fencing.
Proxmox VE trainings are organized by authorized Proxmox training partners. stacktrace GmbH, a company specialized in IT-security and digital forensics, was added to the list of training partners at the end of this year.
Proxmox VE is used by over 65.000 hosts and has become an open source alternative in the business sector replacing proprietary solutions like VMware vSphere, Microsoft Hyper-V or Citrix Xen. With businesses using Proxmox VE in production environment, the demand for professionally trained employees is increasing. Martin Maurer, CEO of Proxmox Server Solutions, says: „Many of our users are former VMware clients but now have switched to Proxmox VE with a scalable and predictable support subscription instead of the high annual VMware licensing and support costs. Many of these companies also benefit form our training service and deploy an efficient virtualization infrastructure with a skilled team in relatively short time.“
More information on Proxmox VE trainings and a registration form can be found on the website https://www.proxmox.com/trainings.
